Nah, the 80's gave us such "classic" films as Clue, Ghostbusters, and The Last Temptation of Christ, as well as the first year of The Simpsons.

Best band of the 80s: The Sugarcubes. Go look them up, particularly their album "Life's Too Good". They rock. Even today. I promise.
